Description: | The American Red Cross of Northern Utah is dedicated to relieving human suffering through programs called lines-of-service: Disaster Services, Community Services, Armed Forces Emergency Services, and Preparedness Services. Through those lines-of-service, the Red Cross provides temporary housing, food, and replacement clothing to victims of emergencies such as house fires; utility assistance to low-income elderly and disabled people at risk of losing their light and heat; communication between military families in crisis and loved ones stationed far away; training in life-saving skills such as first aid and CPR. All Services are funded through voluntary contributions. |
